Seven’s My Kitchen Rules has taken back its place on top after coming in fourth yesterday when the AFL broadcast saw the reality cooking show left of Adelaide TVs Sunday night.

With 1.651 million people tuning in to see what the contestants were cooking, the show helped Seven pull the highest total combined share of the networks yesterday, according to OzTam preliminary ratings.

Nine’s The Block took out second place in the top twenty shows for yesterday, nabbing 1.255 million viewers.

Nine’s new episode of Love Child at 8.49pm (according to YourTV) also helped push the network to second place in the total share with 1.065 million viewers, less than its debut episode of 1.354, but enough to push the show to 7th place overall.

Seven’s Revenge, in a similar timeslot to Love Child (8.45pm), only managed to pull in 768,000 viewers, pushing the drama down to 11th place.

Even though Seven saw five of its shows make the top twenty last night and Nine saw six, Seven grabbed the highest total combined share of 34.2%, with 25.3% going to its primary channel.

Seven’s five shows in the top twenty included Home and Away (1.005 million viewers and 8th place), the news and Revenge.

Nine came in second with its total share with 30.1%, 23.4% of that going to its primary channel.

Included in Nine’s six shows that made the top twenty were A Current Affair (970,000 viewers and 9th place) and Hot Seat (603,000 viewers and 16th place).

Despite seeing seven shows in the top twenty last night, ABC came third in the total share with 18.6%, ABC1 seeing 12.3% of that share.

ABC’s Media Watch at 9.20pm pulled in 613,000 viewers (15th place), with its Q&A grabbing 548,000 viewers and taking out last spot in the top twenty.

Ten saw two shows make the top twenty, Ten Eyewitness News and The Project. The network nabbed a total share of 13.5%, with its main station grabbing 8.1%.

SBS came in fifth with a total share of 3.5%, with SBS One seeing 2.9% of the share.
