Nine dominated living rooms last night as The Block Sky High continues to beat Seven’s reno offering.

The Block Sky High came second with an audience of 1.276 million compared to House Rules’ 1.236 million, OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings revealed.

Nine won half of the top 10 slots and took a 23.9% share of all daily free-to-air viewers with its main channel. Seven sat on 20.5% with four top 10 places.

Thursday evening proved to be a strong one for Ten which won five places in the evening’s 20 most watched shows. The effort pushed Ten’s main channel share up to 14.1%.

The network's best performing show was Ten News at Five in 12th with 781,000. Two episodes of Law& Order: SVU followed with the program winning its largest 2013 audience yet of 683,000.

The Project came in 18th (564,000) and MasterChef Australia – Masterclass topped of the top 20 with 549,000 viewers.

The ABC won an 11.3% share of free-to-air viewers and SBS One took 5.3%.
