Initiative Melbourne bags three new clients

Media agency Initiative has added three new clients to its Melbourne office across a diverse range of marketing portfolios including media, politics and charity.

Initiative Melbourne has been appointed to provide business and communications strategy to global print and online publisher The Economist across the Asia Pacific region.

The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) has recruited the agency to develop media strategy and planning for the upcoming Victorian State Election, with a heavy emphasis on digital strategy. Initiative was appointed to the VEC account in conjunction with creative agency Grey.

Bowel cancer prevention organisation The Jodi Lee Foundation has also engaged Initiative. The media shop will work creative agency AJF Partnership to launch a new national campaign for the charity this year.

Andrew Mudgway (pictured), managing director Initiative Melbourne, said: “We are very pleased to bring such progressive and important businesses to our client roster. Our strategic and digital products are clearly resonating with the marketplace and we look forward to developing more successful long-term partnerships.”
