House Rules crept above the million mark on a buoyant night for TV, with The Voice slightly quieter than previous outings, but doing enough to steal the night for Nine.

Ten posted just 9.9% of audience share on its main channel last night, with the only show in the top 20 its News at Five (689,000), while ABC1 posted a 14.4% share, with seven shows in the top 20, according to the OzTam Overnight report.

The Voice won the night for Nine with 1.581m, followed by Nine News (1.384m), Seven News (1.349m), The Block Sky High (1.241m), with the first whole house reveal for House Rules pulling in 1.036m viewers.

Overall Nine dominated the night with 28.8% share, more than nearest rival Seven managed across its combined multi-channel offering (28.4%), with the main Seven channel pulling 21.4% of viewers.
