Fairfax Radio appoints new content solutions director

Fairfax Radio Network has appointed Andrew Sidwell (pictured) to national content solutions director poised with leading the content solutions division.

Sidwell will be responsible for initiating the advertiser content opportunities that also extend beyond radio.

Previously he worked for Mediabrands creative agency Airbone where he was creative strategy and ideas director, and before that he was at Southern Cross Austereo as national creative solutions and ideas director.

“The appointment of Andrew in this important role gives us the ability to develop new solutions for our clients and moves from what was largely locally focused radio integration to a true network approach that puts the power of our brands together. The benefit to our clients will be much more powerful solutions that tap into our rich network of content creation and deliver our unmatched influential, intelligent and informed audience,” Nick Randall, national sales director at Fairfax Radio, said.

“Andrew brings a unique perspective and excellent creative and strategic capability to our network. He has a proven track record and I can’t wait to see the ideas he brings to the table for our clients.”
