Continuous domination for MKR

My Kitchen Rules continues to dominate the screens as it once again becomes the most watched program on TV last night, with 1.88 million people watching the reality cooking show.

The ABC news was able to sneak a place into the top ten programs, the only network to do so after Seven and Nine, according to OzTam preliminary metro ratings.

Home and Away continues to pull in big numbers for Seven with 960,000 viewers last night, helping to pull Seven once more to victory.

Moving away from the networks’ primary channels, last night saw Ten’s coverage of the Sochi Olympics come first on channel One with 302,000 viewers.

Seven’s American Pickers on SevenMate came second in the multi-channel top programs with 269,000 and Neighbours on Eleven scored 252,000.

In terms of the total combined share throughout the networks, Seven came out on top again with a total share of 35% (helped by MKR and the news) and Nine came second with 27%.

A smaller battle eschewed last night between Ten and ABC with Ten seeing victory, coming in third with 17.8%.

ABC came fourth with 15.8% and SBS fifth again with 4.4%.
