Burberry hands global media account to Aegis

Dentsu-owned Aegis Media has been appointed by Burberry as its global partner for media planning and buying.

The high fashion business is the first global win for Aegis Media following its $4.7bn sale to Japan's behemoth Dentsu network last week.

The appointment is for for full-service media planning and buying and digital performance media.

The Aegis Burberry Media Network will be centrally coordinated out of Vizeum offices in London, UK but the brand will also partner with tailored regional teams including talent from Carat, Posterscope, Isobar and Iprospect.
