Vizeum has continued its busy period of activity by announcing that it’s been appointed as SodaStream Australia’s media partner.
The agency has been tasked with helping the brand expand its footprint Down Under and “bring the bubbles back to millions of Australians”.
Vizeum will lead SodaStream's brand strategy, consumer research, communications strategy, and media planning and implementation.
SodaStream, the world’s largest manufacturer, distributor and marketer of home carbonated beverage systems, is synonymous in Australia with the iconic do-it-at-home sparkling beverage system.
Travis Day (pictured), Vizeum’s general manager, said: “SodaStream is going through a very exciting expansion period. Sodastream is in good company at Vizeum, with a stable of brands that start from a different place. In November last year SodaStream’s first global TV ad hit Australian screens. That same month a television commercial that formed part of a multi-million dollar ‘SodaStream Effect’ campaign was banned in the UK for its “denigration” of soft-drink brands.
