APN Outdoor stops the bus

APN Outdoor has won two new Sydney metropolitan bus contracts increasing the number of buses in its portfolio by more than 300.

With the additional buses going live from 6 October 2013, they promise advertisers better access to the west and inner areas.

APN Outdoor says it now holds a 95 per cent strong footprint in Outdoor Transit media across Australia. Running along major, busy arterials through Parramatta, Fairfield, Liverpool, Mount Druitt, Penrith and Richmond, the new bus contracts encompass most of the densely populated western suburbs of Sydney.

“We know that population growth rates are expected to rise 45 per cent across the next 23 years in Sydney’s west. Because we are always looking for the next area of opportunity to give our advertisers a competitive edge with, moving our reach into the popular western area sits within this bigger strategy,” said Paul Osborne, APN Outdoor’s general manager of commercial.
