A Royal release

Bauer Media has released a stand-alone magazine on the Royal Family, with the first edition featuring the Duchess of Cambridge on the cover.

Published twice yearly, Royals magazine follows on from the popular souvenir editions of Women’s Weekly celebrating various Royal events and achievements.

“The next generation led by Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge have a renewed interest in the royals across all demographics,” Helen McCabe The Australian Women’s Weekly editor-in-chief, said.

“Our experience shows readers want informed, accurate reporting about their lives and quite often we simply do not have enough space in the magazine to cover all the angles. We believe Royals will fill that gap.

Royals will be edited by The Australian Women’s Weekly deputy editor Juliet Rieden who has unrivalled relationships with the Palace and last year secured the exclusive interview with Crown Princess Mary of Denmark. The magazine will also feature some of Britain’s best known royal watchers including Katie Nicholls who is also a contributor to the magazine.”

Tony Kendall, director of sales at Bauer Media added: “The Royals stand-alone edition by The Australian Women’s Weekly is yet another example of the diverse touch points that makes this magazine brand Australia’s best. Whether it’s online, mobile, or in print form, the brand connects with over 2.417 million readers* each month, providing advertisers with a product that truly inspires and connects with Australian women.”

The first edition of Royals will be packed with the latest news of the Family and behind-the-scenes photos and stories and is on sale now.
