WordStorm PR has announced it is now representing Project Everest, a social enterprise that aims to solve the world’s most complex development problems by building financially sustainable solutions.

Managed by former army officer Wade Tink, Project Everest partners with universities all over Australia to create projects in developing countries to help solve local community problems.

It currently operates in Cambodia, Fiji, Timor-Leste, Malawi and Vietnam, with plans to expand to the Philippines.

The company has been operating for four years, with 450 students particpating in the projects.

WordStorm PR will be working with Project Everest on an ongoing basis to increase awareness and understanding of social enterprise and unconventional teaching methods.

Monica Rosenfeld, managing director at WordStorm PR, said: “We’re thrilled to be spreading the word about Project Everest. This is such an inspiring venture and something we at WordStorm PR strongly believe in.

“We look forward to promoting the importance of looking outside the box and highlighting the benefits of a less traditional approach to teaching and learning.”
