Vogue Australia Announces Fashion’s Night Out Partnership With American Express

Vogue Australia editor-in-chief Edwina McCann today announced an exclusive partnership with American Express to be the naming rights partner for Australia’s biggest annual retail event, Vogue Fashion’s Night Out 2016.

McCann said, “We’re delighted to have American Express partner with us for Vogue Fashion’s Night Out. Consumers are drawn to experiences and this event is about giving them the very best Vogue VIP experience.

“It’s incredibly exciting to have such a respected brand on board as their investment in the event will better connect our participating retailers and Vogue audience.

“Our brand values and respect for our customers are aligned and I personally believe that American Express is the perfect partner for this very special VIP shopping event. Thanks to American Express, this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.”

American Express vice president, marketing and partnerships Julie Nestor added, “This exciting collaboration between two iconic brands will mean we can offer even greater experiences for our Card Members and attendees.

“Vogue Fashion’s Night Out already achieves a significant impact in Sydney and Melbourne each year, and we look forward to bringing together our retail merchant partners to provide exceptional value to consumers.”

Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out Melbourne will be held on Friday 26 August throughout the Melbourne CBD.  For the second consecutive year the event will feature as a part of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week’s opening night, in partnership with the City of Melbourne.

Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out Sydney will follow on Thursday 1 September in the Sydney CBD in partnership with the City of Sydney. Now in its seventh year it is anticipated this year’s event will see over 190,000 shoppers and hundreds of retailers to once again bring the Sydney CBD to life.

The once a year retail highlight Vogue American Express Fashion’s Night Out supports the Australian fashion industry and is all about engaging consumers in a free event that allows every person to shop like a Vogue VIP. At this year’s one-night-only events, shoppers can expect live entertainment, special offers, celebrities, fashion industry VIPs, exclusive runway shows and the champagne will be flowing as the Melbourne and Sydney CBDs come to life.

David Jones returns for the third year as the exclusive retail partner.
