Toyota Entices MercerBell To Open First Melbourne Office

Triggered partly by its long-standing relationship with Toyota, customer experience agency MercerBell is set to add more robust CX skills to the Melbourne market, as the Publicis Communications owned agency announces the opening of its new Melbourne office.

MercerBell founding partner and CEO, Nick Mercer (right in photo), explains, “We look forward to continuing our long standing relationship with Toyota as they move to Melbourne. The Melbourne market represents a great opportunity for an agency such as ours.”

Nick Mercer will relocate to Melbourne mid-November to oversee the set-up of MercerBell Melbourne and the transition of the team.

The MercerBell Melbourne staff will report into the national MercerBell management team of Julie Dormand (middle of photo), David Bell (left in photo), Paul Henderson and Annette Barwell. Melbourne clients will get the benefit of drawing on the established Sydney offering across the key competencies of technology, data, strategy and creative, as well as having direct access to MercerBell’s CEO and growing team.

MercerBell managing director Julie Dormand said, “MercerBell is already working with Publicis Communications clients from Sydney and there are more opportunities for us once we are on the ground.”

“MercerBell has a unique positioning in the Australian market as MercerBell, the customer experience agency. Bringing Nick, one of the most experienced CRM / CX people in the Australian market to Melbourne, also shows our greater commitment to adding to the local landscape. We believe there is a good opportunity to provide our skills and expertise for Melbourne based clients.”
