The Internet Nails Apple Against The Wall For Horrible Pen Thing

The launch of an Apple product is usually met with fanfare and tears of joy from nerds, but this latest apple product for iPad Pro has been uncharacteristically knocked back.

The $99 Apple ‘Pencil’ stylus is the latest accessory for the new iPad Pro.  The stylus is a piece of technology which the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs once described as ‘yuck’ and declared that ‘nobody would want it.’

Back in 2007 Jobs said that if a company made a stylus for a tablet, then ‘they blew it’.

“We’re going to use a pointing device that we’re all born with – born with ten of them. We’re going to use our fingers. We’re going to touch [the iPhone] with our fingers,” Jobs said.

Flash forward to 2015 and Apple has just announced its own version of a stylus:
