Salmat Names New Digital & Performance Marketing Chief

Australian marketing services business Salmat has announced the appointment of Karen Lewis as its new head of digital and performance marketing.

Lewis (pictured above) brings a wealth of experience from working in various global digital agencies and heading up digital marketing divisions across many industries including financial services, retail and travel.

She has also worked in senior client-side roles across her career, and is vice chair and a board member position at The Digital + Technology Collective (formally AIMIA), which is part of the Australian Alliance for Data Leadership network.

Salmat’s general manager of marketing solutions, Dave Webster, said: “Karen’s extensive agency and in-house experience, client focus and track record of driving real business results will set her and our clients up for great success.

“In this role, Karen will lead a well-established team and oversee all activities related to digital and performance marketing to help our clients grow their businesses.

Commenting on her new role, Lewis said: “I am excited and thrilled to working with such a passionate team here at Salmat. I am very much looking forward to working with clients and demonstrating the potential of effective data-driven digital marketing strategies.”
