Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne Partners Up To Create World’s Fastest Coffee

Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne, Hey You and the Bank of Melbourne have launched the world’s fastest coffee machine this week. The machine, dubbed Long Mach, brings a whole new meaning to ‘espresso’ as it froths, pours and serves delicious coffee at over 220km/h.

The Long Mach project was developed to launch Australia’s leading order-ahead payment app ‘Hey You’.

Head of brand and marketing at Bank of Melbourne, Jac Phillips said, “We’re here to help Victorians and their businesses prosper. Bank of Melbourne is proud to support innovative start-up Hey You and the team of local makers that made the dream of super-fast coffee a reality with Long Mach”.

Leon Wilson, group creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi Melbourne added, “Inside every beautifully refined Italian coffee machine is a completely irrational Italian motorcycle wanting to go berserk, so it felt like an obvious solution.”

Long Mach will be appearing at select Melbourne locations, with the launch including a short film showcasing a sidecar circuit racer, a premium coffee machine and a very brave barista named Trevor.
