Publicis Wins Pitch To Help Queensland Health Tackle Obesity

Queensland Health has announced it has partnered with Publicis to tackle obesity in the state, following a competitive five-way pitch.

Jane Martin, director of marketing and communications at Queensland Health, said the government organisation chose to partner with Publicis because of its deep understanding and experience with behaviour change marketing.

“Through the pitch process, they demonstrated first-class, integrated strategic, creative and technology thinking, resulting in solutions that are going to really tackle the heart of the issue,” she said.

“Secondly, we loved their collaborative style of working, which became very obvious when we first met the team, and it has come to fruition as we create the work to launch into market over the coming three months.”

Publicis executive creative director Ryan Petie said: “Obesity is one of the most critical health issues of our time. We’re excited to partner with the Queensland Health team to create real change in Queenslanders’ lives.

“We’re both passionate teams who truly believe that creativity can solve the world’s problems, so I can’t wait to launch our work and see the results.”

The obesity campaign will launch into market in the coming months.
