Paul Clout Joins Carat Perth From Starcom To Bolster Agency’s Specialist Services

Paul Clout will join the team at Carat Perth to head up a new sponsorships and integration division, Carat Connect, as part of the agency’s expanded suite of services locally.

Clout, who has spent over ten years with Starcom Mediavest, will be responsible for pioneering new services in content and production, as well as leading key client accounts. He joins the agency after a period of exceptional growth for the business, winning over $20 million in new business over the last six months.

Carat Perth managing director Adam Marshall said, “Paul is firmly established as one of the leading media thinkers in WA.

“His experience, both locally and internationally, singles him out as uniquely qualified for the role. As the media landscape continues to transform, we want to take a leadership role in developing new services that ensure our client’s communications stay relevant in this fragmented age.”

Clout said of his appointment, “I’m truly excited to be joining Adam and the excellent team over at Carat, and by the prospect of helping bring Carat Connect to life in the WA market. Having spent over a decade with my current agency, I’ll look back fondly, but this opportunity was too enticing to pass up.”

Paul Clout joins the agency officially on Monday 13 June as head of Carat Connect WA.
