Omnicom Media Group Appoints Director Of Operations

Omnicom Media Group has strengthened its central resources and is chasing best in market practices by appointing a new national role to lead operations across the group.

Justine Thompson has been appointed to the role director of operations, Omnicom Media Group. Thompson; previously trading lead for OMD Sydney, has 20 years’ industry experience split across OMD UK and Australia.

“I am very excited by the opportunity of transitioning a media professional of Justine’s calibre and experience into a wider group role,” Omnicom chief investment officer Tony Harradine said.

“In an increasingly complex industry, Justine’s new role will be central to ensuring that we continue to lead the market with best practice across systems, operations and investment accountability.”

On her appointment, Thompson added, “I’m delighted to be working with Tony and the wider Omnicom Media Group team to ensure we deliver best in market practices and support for our agency pillars. I’m excited to continue working with people I respect immensely across the agency group, whilst also forging new relationships with those in the broader team”.

Thompson will be based in Sydney, and report to Tony Harradine, with her appointment effective immediately.
