Nick Cave & Iggy Pop Team Up In New Animal Welfare Video For PETA

Aussie rock group Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds have joined forces with UK music legend Iggy Pop to feature in a new video for animal welfare group PETA.

In the video, Iggy Pop appears in his dog’s daydream as a superhero, helping a turtle safely cross the road and coming to the defence of a rabbit in a hare-raising attack, all to the tune of Breathless by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk said: “Nick Cave and Iggy Pop have left PETA breathless with this sweet video. If everyone acted like the people our dogs think we are and depend on us to be, the world would be a far kinder place.”

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds are part of a long list of musicians – including Paul McCartney, The Black Keys, Sia, Morrissey, and Chrissie Hynde – who have donated their songs to PETA affiliates.
