Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) has appointed content agency Medium Rare to supply publishing and sales services for its online and print magazine, Acuity.
Medium Rare will produce its first issue of the revamped bi-monthly print magazine – which is distributed to nearly 100,000 CA ANZ members worldwide – in December 2018.
In addition, Medium Rare will provide content strategy, editorial and production services for the Acuity website, fortnightly EDMs and the publication’s social media channels, including blogs, videos and podcasts.
Medium Rare has appointed respected business and finance journalist Sally Rose as editor of Acuity.
Rose was most recently the editor of Investment Magazine. She has also held roles at The Australian Financial Review, CFO Magazine and Global Access Partners.
David Breust, chief marketing officer at CA ANZ, said: “We are pleased to announce this new strategic partnership with Medium Rare, which will strengthen Acuity and continue a tradition of high-quality content for leaders in the profession.
“Acuity has a history of providing sharp business insights, so we are looking forward to our new partnership taking this further across multiple platforms and reach more members effectively.

“Acuity is a key way we connect with members and, with the experience of Medium Rare behind us, we are looking forward to delivering world-class content, refreshed for December 2018.”
Medium Rare managing director Gerry Reynolds said: “Acuity’s content platforms combine to communicate directly with high-earning individuals who manage the major purchasing decisions in business across Australia, New Zealand and overseas.
“We are excited to offer members informative and engaging content, while providing advertisers with greater opportunities to reach a highly desirable audience across platforms.
“Our aim is to take Acuity content to the next level in order to help members remain relevant and have successful careers in an age of increasing automation and digital disruption.”
