History Will Be Kind (HWBK) is building its portfolio across the board in 2018, now partnering with Market City to launch its new food offering, 1909 Dining Precinct.
The precinct features eight leading Asian restaurants, including Mr Meng Chongqing Gourmet (pictured above), the second Australian outpost of a hugely popular Chinese noodle empire.
Working with the Market City team, HWBK will lead the communications strategy to build awareness of the standout new foodie destination and generate footfall to support the progressive roll-out of restaurants from March through to mid-year.
Market City centre manager David Yam said HWBK is the ideal partner to tell the 1909 Dining Precinct story, which heralds a new era of dining at the renowned retail hub.
“We’re delighted to welcome HWBK on board to support the launch of 1909 Dining Precinct, further underscoring our position as one of the city’s most authentic and vibrant Asian food destinations,” he said.
“Its opening coincides with Market City’s 21st anniversary, and we look forward to working with the team to help mark this significant occasion and bring Sydneysiders and visitors alike on the journey with us.”
HWBK founder Emma-Jane Granleese said the agency is excited to sink its teeth into this new challenge, which combines some of the team’s key passions: food, retail and destination marketing.
“This is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate our ability to harness the power of storytelling across platforms and create moments in history for our clients,” she said.
“We are proud to be working on this transformation piece to showcase the best of modern dining and look forward to helping bring the new Market City story to life.”
