Mahlab Media has nabbed Fiona Hunt to head up its strategy and work with clients on content marketing projects.
Hailing from both Google executive offices and with a stint as Contiki managing and marketing director, Hunt will both develop and implement content strategies across owned, paid and rented channels.
Managing director Bobbi Mahlab said the move was a big one, namely because of Hunt’s background in both digital marketing and publishing.
Her CV includes senior roles at Google, Intrepid Travel and the Travel Corporation including MD of Contiki where she drove digital brand engagement and published National Geographic Traveller magazine. Hunt is also a judge of ADMAs A,C&E awards.
“Fiona’s deep digital knowledge and extensive marketing background along with her experience as publisher will give Mahlab Media’s clients the opportunity to work with senior marketing and digital expertise with hands-on experience turning brands into publishers,” Mahlab said.
In a statement Hunt added, “I’m very excited to be driving the end-to-end strategic solutions Mahlab Media offers clients, from strategy and insights through to content creation, amplification and measurement.
“Content marketing is an increasingly competitive landscape and Mahlab Media have an established and global pedigree that I am delighted to be part of.”
