Kidspot.com.au Launches Events Partnership With Mum Society
Australia’s leading parenting site Kidspot.com.au today announced the launch of a live events platform for Australian parents in partnership with Mum Society.
The Kidspot.com.au and Mum Society partnership reflects the complementary audiences and engagement of both brands.
Through a curated schedule of events, audiences will be able to socialise, interact and learn from experts in the parenting field with the first event being held this week.
The partnership will also offer Kidspot.com.au clients bespoke event opportunities tailored to commercial partnerships.
Kidspot.com.au connects with 2.5 million parents every month, providing readers with expert advice to support them through the trials and tribulations of family life.
Mum Society was founded by Kylie Ostle in 2012 and has grown to have a thriving community navigating the inevitable changes in life, career, business and parenting.
Mum Society events bring like-minded mums and inspiring speakers together to connect at events.
Kidspot.com.au executive editor Melissa Wilson said: “Mum Society has a strong alignment to the Kidspot.com.au brand through their community of mums.
“We’re excited about collaborating with them and creating events that empower parents and offer genuine conversation to arm them with advice, reassurance and ongoing support.
“Our partnership will also offer clients tailored and meaningful events with consumers through brands they trust, which is incredibly powerful.”
Mum Society founder Kylie Ostle said: “Everything we do at Mum Society is about supporting mums. We are passionate about evoking change in the workplace and embracing change at home.
“Things are continually evolving for mums and by sharing our stories and supporting one another we can help ensure these changes reflect positively in our lives.
“Our collaboration with Kidspot.com.au will enable us to reach so many more with our message that you aren’t alone, and through our events do all that we can to rebuild their confidence.”
Melissa Wilson and Kylie Ostle will co-host the events, all of which will be filmed and shared across Kidspot.com.au social channels to ensure mass coverage with the target audience.
The first Mum Society event in partnership with Kidspot.com.au will focus on postnatal depression and will be held on 28 November in Sydney.
Guest speakers Libby Trickett, former Olympian, mum and mental health advocate, and psychologist Chelsea Pottenger, will be joined by Steph Pase, a mum-of-two who has opened up about her struggle with PND and what it was like going from one baby to two.
Kidspot.com.au and Mum Society will be supporting the Centre of Perinatal Excellence (COPE) as part of the event.
COPE is an organisation devoted to reducing the impact of emotional and mental health problems in the pre and postnatal periods.
Their goal is to reduce distress and provide hope in pregnancy and early parenthood.
The 2019 event series will kick off with a special Food & Family event to help parents navigate all aspects of getting kids back to school including lunchboxes, organisational hacks and helping children adjust.
This can be a very daunting experience for both kids and parents and this event will bring together experts in nutrition, behaviour and lifestyle to offer advice and support for the whole family.
