Kate Waterhouse Named Aussie Ambassador For Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin

Diageo has appointed fashion and lifestyle journalist, media personality and TV presenter Kate Waterhouse as the official ambassador for Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin in Australia.

The ambassadorship role will encompass social, experiential and editorial commitments across spring and summer 2018, the latter two as part of Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin’s media partnership with Vogue Australia.

Waterhouse’s appointment comes as Diageo ramps up marketing activity for Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin in time for the spring and summer season.

Gordon’s will predominantly target a female audience by elevating Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin’s chic, stylish and playful credentials in the worlds of fashion, beauty and style.

Jodi McLeod, marketing manager of gin at Diageo, said: “The global trend and thirst for all things pink continues to charm Australia and the world. Kate is a trend-setter and one of the country’s leading style icons and fashion commentators.

“We’re excited to align Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin with her style credentials and watch the response to our plans in the coming weeks and months, as we head into the warmer part of the year.”

Commenting on her appointment, Waterhouse said: “The trend for all things pink is long-established yet here to stay, and I’m thrilled to be working with Gordon’s to showcase and celebrate new Gordon’s Premium Pink Gin in the stylish and light-hearted world of pink.”
