Journalists Handed Manual On How To Seduce Women During Football World Cup

Argentina’s Football Federation (AFF) has, understandably, gone into total damage control after it was busted handing out a manual to journalists that included tips on how to seduce Russian women during the coming Football World Cup.

The manual was handed out to journalists, players and coaches during a session on how to better understand Russian language and culture. The World Cup kicks off in Russia on the 15th of June with Argentina’s first game against Iceland set down for the following day.

Under the headline “What to do to have a chance with a Russian girl” the manual offered the following top tips: “Make sure you’re clean, smell good and dress well.”

It added: “Because Russian women are beautiful many men only want to sleep with them … the advice is to treat the woman in front of you as if she is someone of value,” it said.

Another extract said “don’t worry, there are many pretty women in Russia and not all are good for you. Be selective.”

Apparently the content was lifted from an unnamed blog on Russian women and reprinted by the manual’s author.

Unsurprisingly, the AFA has apologised for the content and immediately removed it from the manual. But not before it provoked outrage from women’s rights activists and others after it went viral on social media on Tuesday.

In a statement, the AFA said: “The Department of Education of the Argentina Football Association announces that after an internal investigation carried out with respect to what happened yesterday during a course on Russian language and culture, we have concluded that part of the material given was erroneously printed.

“Having notified the personnel of the department, we proceeded to have it immediately removed. We lament that such a mistake has overshadowed what was important on the date.

“We express our most sincere apologies to those that were affected by the publication which in no way reflects the thinking of the Argentina Football Association, nor of its president Claudio Tapia or any of its executives.”
