The new standalone company is aiming to harness the power of content marketing to assist businesses gain media coverage, drive growth and deepen customer engagement with the production of medically and financially-endorsed content, as well as producing shows across lifestyle, small business, and marketing.

The new venture is a reaction to the now-overlapping areas of PR and social media strategy, according to TheGoodTV founder and producer Annie Gregory.

“It’s exciting to be creating an engaging ongoing content series and [expanding] digital and social assets to give individuals and small to medium businesses a voice that might not have the opportunity otherwise,” she said.

TheGoodTV has also recruited new talent to offer a premium selection of packages from guaranteed media coverage, one-to-one media training within a state of the art broadcast environment, to tailored media productions.

Through web-based shows, the content encourages interaction across a diversity of topics as well as providing medically-endorsed advice with the aim of outreaching communities that might have direct access to healthcare providers.

“This is something we feel is not currently being offered in Australia, and helps shape our distinction in the market as both a content provider and digital agency,” Gregory said.

TheGoodTV launched on Monday 1 January and is currently in production from its broadcast studios based in Docklands, Melbourne.
