Indy Agency Designate Promotes Andrew Nobbs To MD

Sydney-based corporate brand and communications group Designate has announced the appointment of Andrew Nobbs as its new managing director.

Nobbs has led the creative team at Designate for the last seven years. Prior to joining Designate, he spent 10 years as creative director at Barton Design.

Nobbs will replace Renée Carter, will continue to be a principal part of the Designate family on the company’s board.

Carter said: “Since stepping back from the managing director role at Designate, and maintaining my board role, it has been an exciting development to have one of our key team members, Andrew Nobbs, step forward to drive our business.

“Andrew brings a fresh vision of brand and communications expertise to this role, along with existing relationships with our clients and team, who will continue to benefit from his input.”

Commenting on his new role, Nobbs said: “I am excited by the new challenge of growing our business and the relationships I have built over the last seven years with the team at Designate and our clients.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to build on the great relationships we have with accounts such as AGL, Caltex, Charter Hall, Dexus, DuluxGroup, Macquarie Bank, and Westpac.”
