Last week, branding and design agency Hulsbosch held an event to mark its 35th anniversary, held at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sydney.

The special evening for the landmark was organised to recognise the agency’s achievements, its client partnerships and international award-winning work.

The evening featured congratulatory client speeches presented by an elite line-up of VIPs including Gavin Smith, senior vice president of Royal Caribbean Cruises; John Maclean, founder and CEO of The Maclean Foundation; and John Borghetti, CEO of Virgin Australia Group.

Reflecting on Hulsbosch’s 35th milestone, Hans Hulsbosch said: “Branding has come a long way in Australia, and being at the forefront of its integration and shaping that history is a rare privilege.

“Gone are the days that a brand was defined by its product. Nowadays a ‘brand’ is an identity that reflects the very essence of a company’s being; it is an entire, organic system that offers consumers unique experiences through a corporation’s products and/or services.

“As a proudly independent Australian-owned company, national and international corporations have entrusted us with their brand strategy and design, development, creative management and brand guardianship.”

As part of the celebrations, a specially curated 300-page limited edition book has been produced that documents Hulsbosch’s history and details key projects and milestones.

The book records the development process of client work, from the initial stages of a client brief through to final implementation. For the reader, it’s a unique and insightful story of a brand’s creative journey.

Significantly, the book exhibits rare hand drawings and sketches that examples the creative process for projects and embodies Hulsbosch’s award-winning design ethos.

50 free copies of the are on offer, and all you have to do if interested is email reception@hulsbosch.com.au.
