Havas Village Launches New Strategic Hub With Two New Directors

Havas Village has today announced the launch of a new strategy hub, which will operate across multiple disciplines and provide access to more data and insights than ever before.

In an Aussie first for major media and creative holdings, the move will see the strategy operation of Havas Creative Group and Havas Media Group join forces to create a new multi discipline, team of strategists who will underpin the Village’s approach to integrated marketing.

Havas Media Australia’s head of strategy Imogen Hewitt and Havas Worldwide Australia’s head of planning Phil Johnston have been appointed joint executive strategy directors for the Havas Group and assume responsibility for the new strategy department with immediate effect.

Their jobs will be to unify the agency’s strategic skills, creating a unique and a truly integrated team, to service the diverse range of clients within the Village portfolio.

Hewitt said, “Phil and I are really excited to be involved in pioneering the way our industry approaches strategic challenges. One of the most difficult parts of our job is there is never one right answer.

“This is part of what makes it so valuable to have different viewpoints working through the same strategic challenge to devise the very best solutions for our clients.”

Havas Worldwide Australia CEO, Anthony Gregorio and Havas Media Australia CEO Mike Wilson said in a joint statement, “Our new strategy hub provides us with an agile offering, giving clients the best combination of expertise and data-driven intelligence, regardless of which part of the agency they engage with.

“The Village is continuing to grow and deliver some outstanding integrated work and this is the first of many more exciting chapters to come.”

Hewitt and Johnston will be working across the Havas Village stable of clients, and are already collaborating on several new business opportunities.
