Former Microsoft Marketer Joins Rubicon Project

Rubicon Project has appointed Mari Kim Novak as Chief Marketing Officer (based in the USA).

Novak most recently worked as Global Head of Marketing for Microsoft Advertising for nine years, spearheading marketing and sales enablement programs for key brands including MSN, XBOX, and Bing. She has more than 17 years’ experience and had previously worked at Millward Brown, Jupiter Media Metrix, Relevant Knowledge and Grey Interactive.

Novak is a prominent member of New York’s advertising community currently holding executive board roles with The Advertising Club of New York, Advertising Week, and advisor roles to Internet Week and the Greater New York YMCA’s Y After School program, Arts and Letters committee.

With her uniquely relevant expertise, Novak’s focus will spearhead Rubicon Project’s market transition to a unified technology platform for advertising across all screens, devices and formats. She will also accelerate Rubicon Project’s activities with premium buyers and sellers around the world and leveraging her relationships across the industry, she will work to ensure that brand marketers everywhere realize the power of automated trading to execute against all levels of the Marketing funnel.

Rubicon Project recently became publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: RUBI), as of April 2 2014.
