Former Initiative MD Stephen Fisher Joins Hatched Media
Independent agency Hatched Media has added ex-Initiative MD, Stephen Fisher, to its management team in the role of General Manager. Stephen joins the agency after leaving Initiative earlier this year.
Hatched have seen significant growth in 2016 with the addition of several clients and were recently included in BRW Fast Starters 2016.
In the appointment, Hatched Media’s managing director and founder Jack Byrne stated, “I am chuffed to have someone with Stephen’s business acumen and experience join the team.
“Not only does he bring a wealth of knowledge and integrity in the media and communications landscape, he’s a bloody great bloke and shares similar values to the business and how we should go about it, making him the obvious choice for this senior management role.”
Fisher joins the senior management team which includes Byrne, strategy directors Virginia Scully and Lucy Seward and digital media director Jacqui Keleher.
Fisher said, “There is no doubt that the independent agency space is flourishing, with clients looking for partners with both the agility and smarts that the sector is able to offer. Jack has created a great business over the last few years and is wholly focused on his clients and working in partnership with them.
“What’s really impressed me are the values he lives by within the business, ensuring a well-resourced, balanced and happy team.
“I’m very excited to be joining Hatched and can’t wait to help the team grow the business by adding to the great foundation already built.”
Fisher will take on the role of overseeing the day-to-day management of the agency as well as assisting the management team in shaping and building on the already impressive capabilities and offering to its current and future clients.
