Ex-L’Oreal Marketer Joins Stark Matthews In Newly Created Role

Consumer PR and social agency Stark Matthews has announced the appointment of Cherie Herrmann as its social media marketing strategist.

In this newly created position at Stark Matthews, Herrmann will lead the agency’s digital and social strategies for clients, and drive its towards truly integrated campaigns with a digital-first mindset.

Hermann brings to the position extensive experience in digital, social, content marketing, and copywriting.

She has previously worked for global beauty powerhouse L’Oréal as the international social media marketing manager for The Body Shop based in the UK, and returned to Australia as the social media and brand manager for L’Oréal Paris.

Prior to L’Oréal, Hermann worked for a number of digital editorial platforms, which included holding the position of beauty and health editor of beautyheaven.

Stark Matthews director Anna Stark said: “The landscape has changed, social and PR no longer sit in silos, so effective brand communications include strategies where social, digital, influencer marketing, and PR support one another in cohesive, rounded and thought-out campaigns.
