Dominos Launches Interactive Pizza School While Taking A Pop At Rivals Pizza Hut

Pizza chain Dominos has taken a sneaky jab at competitor Pizza Hut over its “crazy concoctions” of pizzas.

Dominos has launched a rather fun interactive online site – the Pizza School – that takes users through various elements of pizza making. The offering hopes to encourage users to make gimmick-free pizzas.

One video created shows what happened when Dominos approached one of its competitors.

While the name, logo and workers’ faces have all been blurred out to not outrightly state it was Pizza Hut, the iconic red roofs leave little to the imagination.

The interactive offering has pizza lovers browse through a campus made from Cardboard, taken around to various areas of pizza making.

Starting at the dough site, students are then taken to the sauce area, cheese station and finally toppings. Videos accompany each area on the teachings of pizza making.

According to the ‘this is how we did it’ video, the school was made from over a thousand pizza boxes and 500 man hours.
