Digital Jungle, a leading cross-cultural digital marketing Agency that works with international clients to connect with Chinese audiences living across the world, announced today the launch of a new joint business, Reach China., a startup company offering integrated e-commerce solutions in China’s booming e-commerce sector.

Digital Jungle, along with China Search International (CSI) and China Retail Logistics (CRL) have formed this new business to provide an end-to-end eCommerce solution for International Companies wanting to partake in the Chinese e-commerce sector.

China’s e-commerce market is the world’s largest, having surpassed the US in 2013, with Chinese online shoppers forecast to spend RMB3.3 trillion in 2015 (US$540 billion), according to Bain & Co.

Despite the country’s fast-growing e-commerce sector, China lacks companies that currently provide integrated e-commerce solutions.

Reach China will work with international brands to establish and manage all aspects of their Chinese e-commerce operations, from marketing through to purchase, fulfilment and delivery, across multiple consumer platforms such as Alibaba’s Taobao (C2C) and TMall (B2B), JD.com and the mobile messaging service WeChat.

Reach China, is ready today for helping businesses get started with selling into China and with the backing of Digital Jungle, CSI and CRL can provide products and services in the emerging O2O (online to offline) sector, including an e-commerce data management platform allowing clients to track, measure and optimize their e-commerce operations as well as a full range of digital marketing and branding solutions.

Digital Jungle CEO Dr. Mathew McDougall said, “Understanding and monetizing the e-commerce opportunity is a top priority for all brands looking at China, and by establishing Reach China, we can now offer our clients a one-stop eCommerce solution, a major benefit for those companies expecting to enter the Chinese eCommerce.”

Speaking on the new business, CRL CEO Andrew Waters added, “We are delighted to work with Digital Jungle and CSI and to help their clients and prospects become e-commerce players in China.”

This investment marks a further step towards Digital Jungle’s declared goal of developing an ecosystem in fast-growth markets and sectors related to China.
