CROSSMARK Signs On Luke Johnson As Fresh Faced Director Of Operations

CROSSMARK Australia and New Zealand CEO Andy Kirk today announced the appointment of Luke Johnson as the company’s new director of operations.

Crossmark is Australasia’s largest retail marketing services company, with multi-channel expertise across supermarket, mass, convenience, pharmacy and speciality retail with more than 200 manufacturer and brand clients.

Johnson, who has more than 15 years experience in operations, joins CROSSMARK from online auction site GraysOnline where he was sales operations manager.

Johnson began his career as a business analyst before moving to the United Kingdom to join A.T. Kearney as a data analyst. He then joined Deloitte in the UK and in Australia as a senior consultant, working on a variery of operational improvement projects for companies including the National Health Service, Johnson & Johnson, Chevron, PMP Ltd, Fonterra, Boral and Westpac.

He was with GraysOnline for six years, responsible for operational management of the consumer division and supporting the achievement of sales targets. Johnson has an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Newcastle.

At CROSSMARK, Johnson is responsible for operations and strategy across the national business.

“This is an important role for CROSSMARK and Luke will help provide a solid foundation for the growth of our business and contribute to strategic initiatives and operational management. Luke brings a wealth of knowledge in operations and sales and has been closely involved in helping several blue chip companies achieve their goals. We are delighted that he has chosen to join the CROSSMARK team,” Kirk said.

Commenting on his appointment, Johnson said, “CROSSMARK has a strong vision for growth and several plans for innovations which makes it an exciting business to be part of. I look forward to working with the team to put the structure and plans in place to achieve those goals.”
