Crimson Hexagon And One Small Step Collective Pair Up For The Sake Of Social

The world’s leading social data and analytics platform is now more accessible to Australian and New Zealand brands, thanks to a partnership between Crimson Hexagon and Melbourne creative agency One Small Step Collective.

The collaboration will see Crimson Hexagon represented in Australia and New Zealand for the first time since the platform’s inception in 2007.

Crimson Hexagon’s patented software has revolutionised what social data analytics can do for brands. It allows clients to go beyond ‘first-generation’ technology that only shows sentiment, to understand the opinions and nuance behind the sentiment.

It does this by accessing and analysing a social media data library of more than an incredible 750 billion posts from blogs, forums, consumer review sites, news sites, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google+, and their partner Twitter. The resulting insights provide businesses with critical data to make real-time decisions, as well as historical data for reviewing, analysing and planning fresh creative campaigns.

One Small Step Collective managing director John Williams said the partnership was the perfect fit for the creative agency.

“As an insights led agency, it made sense for One Small Step Collective to form a partnership with the global leader in the social analytics and research space, “ he said.

“We are excited about the partnership with Crimson Hexagon and the opportunities that the platform and data will provide Australian brands, agencies and government.”

Clients across the globe include Microsoft, Twitter, General Mills, Starbucks, Oakley, Campbells, and Target, as well as leading agencies Edelman, Carat, CP+B, HUGE and We Are Social.

“We have enormous confidence that Australian brands and agencies will benefit from having direct access to the platform and a local team to support them in leveraging the insights to create more precise strategies, engaging content and measurable outcomes,” Williams said.

One Small Step Collective was selected due to the broad experience the agency has across the insights, strategy and creative disciplines. The team and skills of OSSC combined with the power of the Crimson Hexagon platform and data will be formidable combination supporting Australian brands, government and agencies to maximise opportunities.

Some of the executive team of Crimson Hexagon will be joining One Small Step Collective to launch the platform in Australia in March.

A number of industry-specific events will be held for those wanting to learn more about the simplicity and capabilities of the platform. Details of these events will be released in the coming week.
