Credit Card Compare Names Its First Head Of Marketing

Aussie credit card comparison site Credit Card Compare has announced the appointment of Caroline Raffan as its inaugural head of marketing.

Raffan (pictured above) has over 10 years’ experience in brand strategy, campaign development, digital marketing, events, public relations, content creation, market research, advertising, stakeholder management, social media marketing, and project management.

She joins Credit Card Compare from Ausfilm, where she worked for more than six years in a number of marketing roles.

Raffan’s role at Credit Card Compare will see her work closely with the company’s head of sales and partnerships, Stephen Henderson, to ensure marketing and sales strategies are strongly integrated and synergies occur organically.

David Boyd, co-founder of Credit Card Compare, said: “We couldn’t be more delighted to welcome Caroline to the Credit Card Compare team as we enter our next phase of serious growth.

“For the past decade, we’ve focused on building and refining our sophisticated comparison technology and credit card database to create a way for Australian consumers to make more informed credit card choices according to their unique lifestyle and financial situation.

“With a website now boasting upwards of two million visits and growing each day, this next phase is about leveraging our technology and database, and ensuring our marketing efforts are growing in a commensurate manner.

“This is why we couldn’t be more excited to bring on board Caroline’s energy, experience, and unique skill set.

“From brand strategy to market research to project management, Caroline is the 360-degree marketer we need to boost our public profile as we continue to grow.”

Commenting on her appointment, Raffan said: “Creating an entire marketing and branding strategy from the ground level in the rapidly evolving fintech industry is any marketer’s dream.

“It’s an exciting time to be part of the fintech industry – a place where the future is happening now – as it’s one of the fastest-moving and most competitive environments in Australia with endless opportunities for innovation.

“I’m looking forward to building upon the great success that Andrew, David, and the Credit Card Compare team have established over the past decade, including all of the creative opportunities that lie ahead.”
