Coca-Cola Amatil’s Australian Boss Barry O’Connell Calls It Quits

Coca-Cola Amatil’s MD of Australian beverages, Barry O’Connell, has resigned his position and will return to Europe, Reuters is reporting.

O’Connell – who took over the reins in July 2014 after running the the New Zealand operations – has been with the local company four years and has worked at various Coca-Cola businesses across Europe for more than two decades.

Peter McLoughlin, currently a Coca-Cola Amatil Australian beverages executive, will act in the managing driector role until O’Connell’s successor can be found.
