Cirrus Media Appoints New Head of Content Marketing

B2B publisher Cirrus Media has appointed Matt Rowley as head of content marketing.

An opinion leader in content and engagement strategy, Matt has founded and run digital communications agencies both in the UK and more recently in Australia. He has advised tech startups on content strategy and is also the founding CEO of Australia’s leading independent Rugby website, GreenandGoldRugby.com.

Presenting at Content Marketing World in Sydney next week (18 March) on ‘A seven year experiment in digital engagement’, Matt believes there are some myths around content marketing that need to be dispelled;

“There’s a myth about content marketing – that anyone can do it. Real engagement, especially in B2B, is a very high bar and to meet it at scale and over time is impossible for the vast majority of businesses. I’m excited to be joining Cirrus because they’ve been doing that for more than twenty years – it’s now about how we innovate that digitally.”

Cirrus Media’s CEO, John King added  “Content Marketing is a key growth area for Cirrus Media. Matt’s expertise and vision in creating digital engagement for clients is a critical piece of the puzzle for us as we continue to build our content marketing offering.”
