Cathay Pacific Brings Asia to the Night Noodle Markets

After a 40-year history with Australia, the Cathay Pacific airline is now a major sponsor of the Fairfax Night Noodle Markets in Sydney and Melbourne for 2014.

ZOO Advertising were briefed to create an unexpected, memorable experiential campaign for the Night Noodle Markets.

ZOO Sydney’s managing director, Simon Cubbin, said: “We decided to bring the food capitals of Asia directly to the people at the Night Noodle Markets. We filmed real footage from various Asian food capitals and projected it on a huge outdoor screen that played on a loop for the duration of the Night Noodle Markets. Visitors were able to eat their meals in an environment that felt truly authentic. The results for Cathay and ZOO have been impressive from both a brand awareness and activation perspective.”

Cathay Pacific marketing manager, Franziska McCarthy, said: “ZOO worked professionally and tirelessly with us to produce a dynamic and creative campaign.  Together we created a unique campaign with multiple elements in a short space of time. The ZOO team was always on hand working with us side by side.”
