The Australian Childhood Foundation has launched #NotAnotherChild with the goal of starting a movement for social change and to raise the awareness and donations for their efforts supporting abused and neglected children.

The fully integrated campaign features Australian Childhood Foundation patron and actor Chris Hemsworth and has been developed by global Digital Creative Agency, Isobar who have managed the development of a TVC featuring Hemsworth, social activation and celebrity engagement with the campaign.

With almost 40,000 Australian children sleeping away from their own bed every night out of fear of abuse, neglect or family violence, #NotAnotherChild aims to encourage and empower Australians to become part of a movement aimed at preventing more children suffering the trauma and pain of abuse.

A social activation will ask people to get involved and highlight the issue by sharing their childhood image with the #NotAnotherChild hashtag.  This movement will be supported by Chris Hemsworth and will harness the power of social media to build community commitment to take action to protect children from abuse and exploitation.

Media support for the campaign includes a Seven Network partnership incorporating Sunrise interview with Chris Hemsworth, exposure during the AFL Grand Final and exposure through Yahoo7!.  Isobar worked with sister agency Huckleberry to secure significant additional media support for the campaign including print, radio and out of home elements to promote #NotAnotherChild.

Konrad Spilva, managing director of Isobar Australia said, “The work of the ACF is crucial to providing justice and a voice for children across Australia.  With the #NotAnotherChild social campaign, we have developed an easy way for all Australians to engage with the ACF’s important work in reducing the number of children who are victims of failed response and preventing future cases.”

“Chris Hemsworth is a powerful Patron for the Foundation and the content we have produced with him will drive engagement and action at a critical time for the community.”

Craig McMillan, the Foundation’s national manager of partnership, fundraising and marketing program said, “We are creating a movement that aims to prioritise the issues of abuse, neglect and family violence and with our digital partners we continue to develop new and innovative approaches to driving increased visibility of these critical social issues. We value partners such as Isobar who help us to innovative and extend our audience engagement.

“This is a major launch for us  and our valued Patron Chris Hemsworth, to  ignite  the passion within the community for children and childhood.”

The Australian Childhood Foundation is committed to ensuring that every Australian child has the right to a safe and happy childhood and ensuring that traumatised children get the support they need.

Does Your Christmas Marketing Suck?

Remember the old Palmolive soap ad that asked, "Don't wait to be told"? This is sort of similar, albeit sans any suds.
