Brand Collective Selects BigCommerce To Power Online Stores

Brand Collective, which houses a stable of iconic apparel and footwear brands, has announced it has chosen to migrate the online stores for its portfolio of brands to BigCommerce.

As part of the partnership, in the coming months Brand Collective will relaunch 10 distinct websites on BigCommerce representing its portfolio of household brands, including Julius Marlow, Clarks, Elwood, Elka Collective, Hush Puppies, Superdry, and Volley.

Brand Collective’s stable of household brands are sold through a combination of department stores, branded retail sites and company-owned websites.

Brand Collective chose to partner with BigCommerce to level up online shopping experiences across its stable of websites and better reflect the modern, yet timeless, look and feel of its labels.

Patrick Rechsteiner, general manager of e-commerce at Brand Collective, said: “From its seamless migration path and robust APIs to the openness and flexibility of the platform, there are a great number of reasons why BigCommerce was an easy decision for us.

“Each of the brands under the Brand Collective umbrella has its own unique style and customer base, so it’s critical that we deliver a cohesive, effective shopping experience for consumers across our entire range.

“We needed a platform with enterprise-grade integrations that would work smarter and more efficiently. BigCommerce stood out from the competition with the ability to deliver on all of this and then some.”

Jordan Sim, group product manager at BigCommerce, said: “Brand Collective is so iconic because it continues to innovate and look for opportunities in the marketplace where it can meet and exceed the needs of the Aussie consumer.

“This ethos, combined with the performance gains and time savings provided by the BigCommerce platform, mean Brand Collective will become more effective at growing its ecommerce business.”
