Public relations firm Blackie McDonald has announced it been appointed to handle the PR and marketing communication needs for Neustar, ReSecure and GeoSlam.

Neustar is a global company that provides real-time information and analytics for the internet, telecommunications, entertainment, and marketing industries, and is a provider of clearinghouse and directory services to the global communications and internet industries.

In Australia, Neustar Registry Services helps shape the future of the internet through the delivery of leading technical and professional services.

ReSecure provides handles the legal, technical and communication issues around data breach issues for clients. Blackie McDonald has been appointed to deliver PR crisis management support as a member of the ReSecure combined team, offering data breach management, technical forensic investigation, legal advice, notification, web and credit monitoring, and PR services.

GeoSLAM was founded in 2012 as a joint venture between CSIRO and 3D Laser Mapping. Initially starting out as a manufacturer and retailer of the ZEB1 hand-held laser scanner, the company now incorporates a global network of distributors serving 32 countries across six continents.

Blackie McDonald has also announced a number of promotions and new hires, with Carolina Machado being elevated to account director, Elyse Nourry taking up the role of senior account manager and Emma Jewell being promoted to account manager.

In addition, Jeremy Tse has also joined Blackie McDonald as an account executive.
