Benchmark Media’s Sarah Kendell Joins Madden & Assoc.

Specialist communications counsel Madden & Assoc. (M&A) has announced the appointment of former industry journalist Sarah Kendell as a senior account manager.

Kendell (pictured above) is the former editor of Benchmark Media’s Financial Observer. Prior to this, she was an account manager at Honner Media, where she worked with financial services clients.

Kendell has also worked previously for the Alternative Investment Management Association in the UK.

M&A founder Bruce Madden said the firm has begun 2018 focused on expanding its practice following its recent rebrand, and that Kendell’s skills add greatly to the firm’s objective to deliver expert communications strategy, message development and bespoke execution services.

“Sarah is an impressive financial journalist with around 10 years’ experience in the media and communications fields,” he said.

“Her skills and professionalism sit well with our team and clients.

“With her qualifications and background, Sarah builds on M&A’s capacity to deliver high-quality and effective communications counsel to its consumer, fintech and wealth management clients in an age where sophisticated, accurate communications is ever more important.”

Commenting on her appointment, Kendell said: “I’m delighted to be joining Madden & Assoc. as my next important career step and to help the firm’s expansion.”

Madden said M&A will look to recruit further team members in 2018.

“The company has grown through referral and word of mouth, not once participating in a competitive pitch process, which is some testament to the quality of our advice and clients’ trust in our services,” he said.

“Our quality standards and persistent attention to the communication outcomes required for a client’s commercial success help to explain our growth.

Kendell’s role is effective immediately.
