Aussie Tennis Open & Country Road Announce New Partnership

The Australian Open has partnered with iconic Australian clothing and lifestyle brand Country Road to supply the uniforms for next year’s tournament.

Confirmed today as the official fashion lifestyle Partner of Australian Open 2018, one of Australia’s most loved brands will be worn by thousands of tournament staff at Melbourne Park in January.

On-court officials including the chair and line umpires, along with operations staff, the player services team, drivers and medical staff, Tennis Australia staff and management will all be decked out in classic Country Road style.

“We are delighted to team up with Country Road, a brand with an extremely rich Australian heritage and one that we think has great synergy with the tennis,” Australian Open tournament director Craig Tiley said.

“There is something extremely special about working with such an established Australian brand and we look forward to showcasing the Australian way of life through the effortless style of Country Road.”

As part of the partnership, Country Road will activate an immersive pop-up shop inspired by the brand’s heritage collection, offering personalisation of the iconic CR Logo Tote as well as summer essentials perfect for tennis goers.

Australian Open 2018 marks 30 years since the Grand Slam moved to Melbourne Park and Country Road is celebrating a similar milestone with a re-launch of the heritage collection in January which will be available for sale at the Country Road Pop-Up.
