Andrew Howie To Exit Westpac For Chief Brand Role At Amazon

Westpac’s advertising chief, Andrew Howie, is leaving the major bank after just nine months to join tech and retail behemoth Amazon as its new head of brand.

Howie confirmed the move to B&T, but refused to comment any further. B&T has reached out to Amazon for comment.

Westpac appointed Howie to newly-created head of advertising role in November last year. Prior to that, he was the group marketing manager at Meat and Livestock Australia – a role he held for more than two years.

Howie will join marketing director Arno Lenior at Amazon, who was poached from Samsung in December.
