The Projects opens a tropical pop-up office

EXCLUSIVE: Experiential agency The Projects is opening a pop-up office on Hamilton Island to help bring to life the 30th anniversary of Hamilton Island Race Week.

The celebrations will also mark 10 years of the Oatley family’s custodianship of the island.

The Projects will be activating a series of experiences on the island to represent some of its major Australian clients.

The agency will also be producing Collette Dinnigan’s Resort Collection fashion show during the Audi Hamilton Island Race Week at Qualia, the island’s five-star resort.

To cap off the week, The Projects will also be helping to curate the audio experience on the island, programming the music and DJ and organising events.

Si Philby, partner at The Projects, said: “We love Hamilton Island and what the Oatley family have created – especially around Audi Race Week. So it made sense for us to collaborate and deliver highly credible brand experiences across the island.

“Collette’s show at Qualia will also be a very special production to work on. Overall, it’s an amazing event schedule and we’re looking forward to some world class activations.”

Nicky Tindill, brand manager for Hamilton Island, added: “Audi Hamilton Island Race Week is the island’s flagship event, and the on-water racing is enhanced by a diverse, on-shore social schedule that needs to be slick, fun and to a very high standard.

“We’re excited to be working with The Projects for the first time, for what will be a very memorable celebration of three decades of the event.”
