LinkedIn has released their Talent Pool Report for ANZ, which provides key insights on Australian and New Zealand marketing professionals.

The report covers recruitment opportunities, including what marketers are looking for in a job and what industries are hiring marketing professionals.

122,740 LinkedIn members define themselves as marketing professionals, and of those 50% are in a manager position or above.

21,010 recent graduates have joined the workforce and are looking for employment in marketing.

The most important factor for professionals looking for a job is good work/life balance (55%) and company culture (52%), and the least important was having a good relationship with colleagues (31%).

The report also found that 1 in 7 marketing professionals changed jobs in the past 12 months.

Marketing professional most frequently heard back from recruiters when seeking employment in Sydney and Melbourne areas, with marketing professionals in the Sydney Area reported as six times more likely to be contacted by a recruiter than those in Adelaide Area.
