Local aerial display advertising company Branding By Air will partner with the Australian Turf Club, the NSW Government and Racing NSW to salute Australia’s most iconic race horse.
Black Caviar, a turf icon and arguably one of the best horses to ever race, is set to run his last Sydney race tomorrow as Branding by Air takes to the Sydney skies for two hours in what they describe as "one of the world’s largest aerial banners" as part of a joint marketing campaign.
The 800 square metre banner celebrating the career of Black Caviar will begin its journey at Sydney’s at Terrey Hills on Sydney's northern beaches at 1pm, and will take in the harbor and Opera House, completing its final furlong along Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Black Caviar will be racing tomorrow in the Darley T.J. Smith Stakes (5.10pm) as part of the BMW Sydney Carnivalat Royal Randwick, having won the same race in 2011.
Branding By Air’s managing director, Duncan McIntyre, said the agency was proud to be involved in saluting such an Australian cultural icon.
“We have been instrumental in some of Australia’s most memorable marketing campaigns of the last few years, including NAB’s ‘Break Up’ campaign, Telstra’s recent relaunch and Jeep’s sponsorship leverage program,” he said.
